Grenzüberschreitende Rechtsberatung
Cross-border legal advice has become inevitable today due to the international networking of markets. Legal management offers various strategies for dealing with foreign matters. It is generally recommended to retain control in your own country by means of choice of law and jurisdiction.
However, it may also be in the interests of entrepreneurs to agree on foreign law, e.g., in the case of liability limitation or compensation claims by commercial agents. It may also be expedient to take legal action abroad, e.g., in the case of warning letters (“torpedo lawsuits”).
Foreign cases are regularly associated with an increased risk. The risk factors must be analyzed on a case-by-case basis.
Standort Stuttgart
The law firm is located in the historic court district of the state capital Stuttgart, at Alexanderstraße 8A, on Eugensplatz, Eugenstaffel, and Galatea.
The law firm's premises are located in a listed Art Nouveau building from the 19th century, designed by architect and master builder A. Wolff, halfway up a hill with a view towards Killesberg across the state capital, above the State Gallery, the House of History, and the University of Music. Not far from the building is a “Stäffele,” a staircase typical of Stuttgart.
From here, we enjoy an unspoiled, commanding view of the beautiful city of Stuttgart with its wonderful topography and delightful vineyards, meadows, and forests from our beautiful Art Nouveau offices.
All courts, such as the Higher Regional Court, the Regional Court, and the Local Court, are within walking distance. The Regional Labor Court and the Labor Court are also within easy reach. Close to the law firm are the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Rural Affairs and Consumer Protection, the Hotel Le Meridien with a large underground car park, the Hotel Am Friedensplatz, the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey, the State Judicial Examination Office at the Ministry of Justice, and numerous shops and facilities.
