Corporate and Foundation Law
Choosing the right legal structure
- Young entrepreneurs are not the only ones who wonder which legal form is right for a business concept. Restructuring existing legal forms is often based on tax considerations, as is the spin-off of business divisions into legally independent subsidiaries.
- Another important topic in corporate law is the liability of the company, but also of the so-called corporate bodies, i.e., the managing directors and board members. The question of when personal liability (with private assets) applies is becoming increasingly important.
- Corporate law also shapes day-to-day business. Examples of the many issues involved include the newly regulated disclosure requirements and contract and claim management. When dealing with business partners abroad, it is particularly important to carefully consider when and with whom a “deal” should be concluded.
